goo Home sandbox went live

Published by Eiji at 1:32:21 under OpenSocial

On 26th March 2009, goo Home finally started to provide sandbox environment which aims to publish OpenSocial functionality.

Here’s list of features:

  • Core APIs (People, AppData, Activity)
  • Gadget rendering support on home, canvas, profile views
  • Extensive privacy controls on personal attributes
  • Viral communication features like requestCreateActivity、requestPermission、requestSendMessage、requestShareApp
  • Emoji feature
  • opensocial-jquery feature

goo Home is so far the best and ideal environment for Japanese developers, as far as I know, in terms of coverage of  OpenSocial spec.

Also, I’ve poured much effort on documentation. You can hardly find any better documentation about permissions on other containers for example. Please take a look, if you can understand Japanese :P
